Christmas Celebrations at Disney World 2021!


Christmas at Disney World 2021

Disney World has announced its Christmas festivities for this year! It is now less than six months until Christmas and Disney have lots in store for you to enjoy!


The festive season will be starting in November at Disney World.


Here are what special events will be happening across the Disney World Parks, Disney World Resorts and Disney Springs in 2021!




Magic Kingdom will have a new After Hours event, Disney Very Merriest After Hours, and a new fireworks show!

Magic Kingdom is always wonderful to visit at Christmastime as the park has a magical winter wonderland makeover! This year the classic festive decor will return and turn Magic Kingdom once more into a Christmas utopia!


There will also be a special holiday projection show that will appear on Cinderella Castle after the sun sets!


Magic Kingdom will have a brand new After Hours Christmas party called 'Disney Very Merriest After Hours'. This new event will debut on November 8th and runs until December 21st.


This 4-hour event will see a new firework show, 'Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks' as well as holiday decor, tasty treats, festive music and Disney characters in Christmas garb!


After Hour parties occur after the park has closed. A limited number of tickets will be available meaning you get to experience Magic Kingdom with lower crowds and enjoy all that is on offer, including the chance to ride 20 attractions, with shorter queue times.




The EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays will return from November 26th until December 30th!

The EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays will return from November 26th until December 30th!


This festive festival will feature Holiday Kitchens all around World Showcase where you can try traditional holiday fare from around the world.


The popular Cookie Stroll will be returning too! You can collect a Festival Passport when you enter EPCOT then head to the five Cookie Stroll locations, purchase a tasty cookie and get a stamp on your passport. Once you have collected all five you can then get a special cookie as a reward!


You can also watch performances by the wonderful EPCOT vocal group, Voices of Liberty, singing classic Christmas carols.




The Hollywood Tower Hotel in Hollywood Studios will have a Christmas projection show to enjoy

Hollywood Studios will have its festive makeover, where vintage decorations will fill the park!


'Sunset Seasons Greetings', a Christmas projection show, will return! See the Hollywood Tower Hotel transformed before your eyes and features characters from Frozen, the Muppets and Toy Story!


Santa will take part in a special character motorcade down Hollywood Boulevard. Keep your eyes out to get a glimpse of the main man of the season!


Minnie and her friends will be in Christmas outfits at the character dining meal at Hollywood & Vine. This is the place to come to see Santa Goofy!


The Frozen Sing-A-Long will have its festive transformation! 'For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration' will fill you with Christmas cheer and you will even get to see everyone's favourite snowman, Olaf, in the finale!




The Tree of Life Awakenings show at Animal Kingdom will have a seasonal overlay

At Animal Kingdom beautiful, unique Christmas decorations will be seen all around the park. Many of them incorporate animals so keep your eyes peeled to see how many different you can spot!


The Tree of Life Awakenings show will have a seasonal projection overlay, where the wonder of Christmas meets the awesomeness of nature.


You will also be able to see Disney characters will be in their festive outfits in a new Christmas character flotilla.




A festive favourite, the Christmas tree stroll at Disney Springs, will be returning once again!

Disney Springs will have glittering Christmas lights and beautiful holiday decor. There will even be snow falling to really set a festive scene!


The Christmas Tree Stroll at Disney Springs will be returning once again this year! The trees are decorated and themed to Disney films, characters and attractions and are a highlight to visit!


Disney Springs is also the perfect location to do some Christmas gift shopping and then grab a great meal and some drinks after a hard day of browsing!


Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar will once again transform into Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Bar, where you can marvel at the delightful décor and enjoy a delicious limited-time menu filled with festive favourites.




The impressive gingerbread houses will be returning to the Disney World Hotels this festive season!

The Disney Resort will be fully decorated for the holidays and they really do look magical! The lobbies will have their beautiful makeovers, including their impressively tall and spectacularly decorated trees!


Gingerbread Houses will also return at the Disney World Resorts this year!




Visiting Disney World during the Christmas celebrations is truly magical and it looks this 2021 is shaping up to be another wonderful festive season!
