The Most Underrated Rides At Disney World!

Disney World is known for its incredible rides and attractions but which ones slip under the radar? Which rides deserve more praise than they receive?

Here are the most underrated rides at Disney World!

Be sure to check out my blog post all about the most overrated rides at Disney World by clicking here!

Alien Swirling Saucers

This is one of three rides in Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios and on first appearance looks like the least exciting out of them all. But this ride is so much more fun than it looks! The swinging motion is super fun and be ready for the big swing that whips you around which adds thrill and excitement! This ride is easy to underrate but will be one you will want to ride over and over!

The Barnstormer

This kid friendly coaster in Magic Kingdom is a great option for families whose little ones are wanting to ride their first coaster! Although aimed at young ones this ride has great theming and is more exciting than you would imagine! The only downside is it is short and sweet!

Carousel of Progress

This classic Disney attraction has one of the most catchy songs out of all Disney World and is a great opportunity to sit back, relax and take a nostalgic look at how we have progressed throughout the past century. This attraction is charming and doesn't get mentioned enough! Because of the frequency of the showings you won't have to wait long to enter so is the perfect show to enjoy in the heat of the midday sun or if you are looking to rest your feet. Be prepared to be singing 'It's A Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow' for the rest of your trip!

Kilimanjaro Safari

The Kilimanjaro Safari at Animal Kingdom is one not to miss! It is truly incredible to be able to see so many majestic animals up close. It really is spectacular and such a special experience. Do not skip this! Try to ride first thing in the morning or at sunset to see the most amount of animals.

Living With The Land

This gentle boat ride which journey's through many scenes teaching about nature and agriculture doesn't sound like it would be something fun to do whilst at EPCOT. But this attraction is super interesting and also gives you a behind-the-scenes look at the EPCOT greenhouses. Yes - Disney grow their own food at EPCOT! Be sure to head next door to Sunshine Seasons or Garden Grill Restaurant to enjoy eating some of the produce you see being grown during this ride!

Toy Story Mania!

This Toy Story attraction takes you through multiple fairground games to play using a console in your vehicle. The competitive element is super exciting and it is great to find out who in your group wins at the end of the ride! An arcade type game may not sound the most thrilling but the incredible theming and the large variety of games you play will keep you interested and entertained throughout! It is the only ride in Toy Story Land where the queue and attraction are inside so it is perfect for times when it is super hot or raining.

Spaceship Earth

Spaceship Earth is the iconic attraction that can be found inside the EPCOT 'golf ball'. Many people don't even realise there is a ride inside this famous Disney landmark! This slow-moving dark ride takes you through the history of mankind using storytelling and animatronics. You also get to have your photo taken and then become part of an animation about what our lives may look like in the future! This part of the ride never fails to entertain! Spaceship Earth is due to undergo a massive refurbishment soon be sure to ride this one last time if you get the chance!

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train

Although listed as a family coaster this Magic Kingdom ride is far from a kiddy ride! The gentle swaying of the train carts, the hills and dips, some amazing theming and iconic song that you can sing along to make this a really fun coaster! Be sure to keep an eye out to see the Old Hag at the end of the ride! You can also get an incredible on-ride video if you have the Memory Maker package which is an excellent keepsake!

Disney World has such a large amount of rides and attractions that there can be times where you don't know how to fit them all in! This list can help you pick out some of the underrated rides that people may skip over which will help you enjoy some amazing rides (and most of them usually have shorter queues too!).

You will always want to hit all the big famous attractions when visiting Disney World but if you have time but sure to fit these under appreciated rides in!
