I’ve just returned from a magical trip to Disneyland Paris during the Music Festival Season, and it was absolutely incredible! This exciting seasonal event fills the park with live music, Disney characters, and magical performances that bring Main Street, U.S.A. and beyond to life like never before!

If you’re planning to visit Disneyland Paris this summer, here are my top 8 tips to help you make the most of the Music Festival Season and enjoy all the special entertainment on offer!

1. Don’t Try to See Every Music Act in One Day

There are so many live performances and character shows during the Music Festival Season that it’s impossible to see them all in a single day. Plan ahead and spread the shows across your stay to get the full experience without rushing.

2. Catch the Mary Poppins Show in the Morning

Most of the live music acts begin in the afternoon, but Mary Poppins, Bert, and her band perform earlier in the day. Start your day with this charming show, then enjoy the rest of the festival lineup in the afternoon!

3. Watch the Music Hits Concert While Dining at Café Hyperion

Want to enjoy the Music Hits Concert without waiting in a long queue? Use Click & Collect (mobile ordering) to pre-order a meal at Café Hyperion about 30 minutes before the concert begins. Grab a table with a stage view and enjoy the show while you dine!

4. Know the Route for Minnie’s Marching Band

Minnie’s Marching Band is an adorable mini parade on Main Street, U.S.A. But be aware—it doesn’t travel the entire street. The band starts from the gates next to Flora’s Boutique, marches to Walt’s Restaurant, performs, and then returns. Don’t wait further down Main Street or you might miss it!

5. Best Spot to Watch Minnie’s Marching Band

To get the perfect photo and viewing spot, stand by the gates near Flora’s to watch Minnie and the band appear. Walk along with them toward Walt’s and stop to enjoy the performance, with the Disneyland Paris Castle as your magical backdrop!

6. Arrive 30 Minutes Early for Front Row Views

Want a front-row seat for the shows? Arrive at least 30 minutes early. Look for the Music Festival circles marked on the ground—they indicate where to wait. Most people sit down and relax while they wait for the show to begin.

7. Use the Disneyland Paris App to Find Show Locations

Not sure where each performance takes place? Open the Disneyland Paris app, navigate to the “Shows” section, and tap on the one you want to see. Scroll down and click “See on Map” to locate the performance spot easily.

8. Don’t Miss the Grand Finale Show!

The Music Festival Grand Finale in the evening is an unmissable event! It features every performer and character from the day’s shows, including Mickey Mouse himself. It’s perfect if you missed any earlier performances or want a spectacular end to your day.

You can watch the finale from multiple locations for different experiences. I stood inside the castle hub near one of the stages and got to see the characters up close. You can also watch the mini parade section from outside the hub for a different perspective. If you have time, try to see it more than once!
